Stuff about me:
I started climbing when I was eight. It all began because I used to climb up and down the door frames at home and all around the house. My favourite game was trying to visit every room (and touch the far wall) without touching the floor (it wasn't a huge house but still a mean feat!). As you can probably imagine, the furniture and the radiators can only bear so much and soon my Mum had found a climbing wall. It was a really old school wall in Bovingdon (Pheasals Wood, I think) and I went there once a week for a year until The Climb opened in my hometown of Amersham. It was here that I met a lot of people who introduced me to various aspects of climbing outdoors as well as indoors. The rest, as they say, is history really. I took two years out in my teens but then moved to Sheffield and got super psyched for everything climbing related again. I love sport climbing and bouldering and there are so many amazing lines to try that the fun is never ending! Like everyone, I'm on a permanent quest to get stronger and better. The journey is all the fun though - especially as there is no end to improving! :) |
